I was going to come back last weekend and post a few more scrap layouts and a trip report from our weekend in Detroit, but go so busy with scrapping I didn't have time. I have a BUNCH of layouts to post so let's get right to it.
Britt released two super cute new element packs this week: "All Strung Out" and "Word Circles." Here is what I scrapped with them:
The Pink Palace - This was where Melinda and I stayed when we went to Detroit. It's the Best Western Greenfield Inn in Allen Park. It is gorgeous!!!

Just a few of my favorite pins - This is for a Tuesday template challenge. I really wanted to do a layout of my pins from WDW. These ones are all from WDW and are just a part of the collection. I actually have more. They are soooo addictive!

Last week Britt had a super cute grab bag for National Scrapbooking Day. This week it was revealed. Inside were: Glam-o-rama Gradients, Polkee-dawt alpha, Yippee Skippee mini kit, and Edge 2 Edge: Songs.
Here are the layouts I created with the grabbag:
Build-a-Bear at Disneyland - Melinda and I loved the BABW store at Disneyland. Lots of really cute Disney clothes for the bears. :)

Remember the Magic - This is going to be the title page for my 2009 WDW digital book. I based it off a paper layout I did for my 2007 WDW book. The digital one was soooo much easier! LOL

This week Wendy released a kit full of bright and vibrant colors, called "Viva Fiesta." Perfect for Cinco de Mayo layouts, but I thought it was perfect for an EPCOT layout! :)
Mexico - EPCOT - The Mexico pavillon at EPCOT.

And now for the rest of the layouts I've done since I last posted. Let's start with another Disney one! :)
Chef Mickey - Mom, Melinda, and I with Mickey at Chef Mickey's. This was for a word up challenge at SM

We got back last Saturday in time for the 10:00 pm Speed Scrap. Here is what I scrapped:
Detroit Red Wings Legends - It was so sad seeing Stevie's number up there.

Go Wings! - This was for a Saturday Special challenge at SM. I used photos from the Red Wings playoff game we went to while we were in Detroit. More on that later! :)

To Boldly go . . . - This was for an Everyday magic challenge at SM about rituals. Melinda and I watch at least one Enterprise episode every night! Tonight we watched two! LOL

The Cold War - Photos from the UM-MSU outdoor hockey game in 2001. Melinda and I were lucky enough to be there. It was AWESOME!!! It was definitely a once in a lifetime experience. GO STATE! :)

A touch of sweetness - I just love this photo of what I think is a Monarch butterfly at the Butterflies in Bloom at Dow Gardens. This was for a Saturday Special challange from April.

Grandma's Bike - This was for April's Past matters challenge about transportation. Grandma H couldn't drive, but she did enjoy riding her tri-cycle and I thought it was such a neat photo.

I also did a few more Gettysburg layouts
"Dont' give them an inch!" - This is the 83rd PA Infantry monument. This was for a roadmap to scrap challenge.

South Carolina State Memorial - Each of the southern states has a single monument dedicated to all of the men who faught at Gettysburg, this is the one for South Carolina. This was for a National Scrapbook day challenge at SM.

McPherson's Farm - This is where the battle of Gettysburg began on the first day. This one was for the April inspiration point challenge at SM.

And last but not least:
Play Ball! - This was for a My Story matters challenge about hobbies or activities. Since I want to do a whole book for our dance photos, I decided to scrap about t-ball.

That is all for now. Though I have a few more that I am almost done with. I'm hoping to have the Detroit trip report up tomorrow. Hopefully before work. I need to work on finishing my Disney World one as well.
