Back in December I carefully plotted and planned the entire "Disney Movie Marathon" leading up to our trip. At some point during the holidays it was lost. :( So after church today I sat down an reworked it. Though I think the first one was better. Oh well. In the past when Melinda has planned it she never leaves any days in between and we always get behind. So this time I left some days in between and tried to focus the ones with sequels on the weekend when there is more time. I tried to keep them in chronological order whenever possible. So for anyone who is interested her is what the 2010 Disney Movie Marathon looks like:
Feb 23 - Homeward Bound 1 & 2
Feb 25 - The Parent Trap (1998) and Freaky Friday (2003)
Feb 27 - The Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy
Feb 28 - The Princess Diaries 1 & 2
Mar 2 - Around the world in 80 days
Mar 4 - Haunted Mansion
Mar 6 - National Treasure 1 & 2
Mar 7 - The Chronicles of Narnia 1 & 2
Mar 9 - Ice Princess
Mar 11 - Enchanted
Mar 13 - Toy Story 1 & 2
Mar 14 - A Bug's Life
Mar 16 - Monster's Inc
Mar 18 - Finding Nemo
Mar 20 - The Incredibles and UP
Mar 21 - Snow White and the Seven Dwarves
Mar 23 - Cinderella
Mar 24 - Alice in Wonderland
Mar 27 - Lady and the Tramp and Peter Pan
Mar 28 - 101 Dalamations and The Aristocats
Mar 30 - Robin Hood
Apr 1 - The Many adventures of Winnie the Pooh and Pooh's Heffalump Movie
Apr 3 - The Rescuers and the Rescuers Down Under
Apr 4 - Oliver and Company and The Little Mermaid
Apr 6 - Beauty and the Beast
Apr 8 - Aladdin
Apr 10 - Pocahontas 1 & 2
Apr 11 - The Hunchback of Notre Dame and Hercules
Apr 13 - Tarzan
Apr 15 - Atlantis the lost Empire
Apr 17 - Lilo and Stich and Treasure Planet
Apr 18 - Brother Bear 1 & 2
Apr 20 - Tinker Bell 1 & 2
Apr 22 - Sleeping Beauty
And since it's my birthday the marathon ends with my favorite Disney movies:
Apr 24 - Mulan 1 & 2
I've arranged it so it finishes several days before we leave on the 28th so that we have time to pack and prepare for the trip. You may notice that the list doesn't include some popular movies like "The Lion King" and "Bambi," but we don't like those movies. I might add them on to the beginning if I feel inclined to see them.
So there you have it. The plan for the 2010 Disney Movie marathon. Hopefully we can stick to the plan! LOL That's all for now. I need to go work on editing some photos for the last installment of my Gettysburg/Antietam trip report.
Later!
