At the end of March Chris filed for divorce. It's a long and complicated story that I will wait to share until after it's finalized. I will be happy once its all over. On Saturday Melinda and I went to serve Roberta the papers.

He has already moved out the house and his two cats, Sam and Syd have come to live with us. Mr. Sam is a little scaredy cat, but Mr. Syd is getting more adventurous. They are both getting slowly getting settled in. The other cats really haven't had a problem. There is some hissing, but really no major fights, which is good. Cassie doesn't really like them at all.

Pat called tonight to say that he got the apartment he was looking for in Novi. He was really unhappy in his present apartment, so I'm sure he is glad to be leaving, though I doubt he is looking forward to moving again since he just moved last year. Though Novi is closer to the airport! :) I think he'll be moving later this month before we go down there for my birthday.
Melinda and I planning to go to Detroit for my birthday. The plan right now is to go the Holocaust Museum in Farmington Hills and then dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe. We also plan to go scrapbook shopping at some local stores in the area. And no trip would be complete without one trip to the Barnes and Nobles in Rochester Hills. I LOVE their used book section. I have found some awesome deals, but it can be hit and miss. We are also going to go to the Star Trek Experience at the Detroit Science Center. Melinda said she would pay for my ticket, so I agreed. And we are thinking of going to a Tigers game. They are playing at home that weekend and we haven't been to a game since they were in the playoffs a few years ago. So it should be a fun weekend. :)
That's all for now!
Later,
Melissa
