Britt released a super fabulous kit this week called "Imperial Girl" inspired some by Mulan. YAY!

I couldn't wait to start scrapping this awesome kit, but had to wait for our Photopass CD to arrive because it had the photo of us with Mulan and Mushu. Luckily it came on Wednesday before I left for work! :) Here is what I scrapped with this amazing kit:
Mulan - Photos of Melinda and I with Mulan at Akershus in Norway, EPCOT.

Trusted Friends - Melinda and I with Mulan and Mushu when we met them later in the afternoon in China, EPCOT. The title is a quote from Mulan 2.

Britt also has a super cute wordart pack out called "Good Fortunes" that comes with two adorable fortune cookies.
Last week Britt released a really cute template pack, "Hang Em High Vol. 2". Here is what I scrapped with them:
Courage under fire - The John Burns monument at Gettysburg National Military Park. Burns is often credited as being the only civilan to join the fight at Gettysburg.

Put them in the stocks! - Photos of Melinda and I in Salem, MA at the Witch Dungeon Musuem.

And I have some pretty exciting news! I was invited to be part of the creative team for WM [Squared] Designs! YAY! I love Wendy's kits and am so excited to be part of the team. I'm also really excited that my online friend Heather is on the team! :)

Wendy released this really beautiful kit, "Spring Blooms" this week and I couldn't resist using it. It is gorgeous! I wish I had more "spring" photos to use with it.

Here is what I scrapped with it:
Nature Adventure - Photos of Mr. Sammmie from when we took him outside last weekend. It was his first time outside on a leash. He seemed to enjoy it after a while. He liked the backyard better than the front yard. He is so cute and fluffy! :)

Now to post the other layouts I've done in the past week. :)
A Happy Day - A photo of Isis from last week's outside adventure. She loves going outside and rolling in the dirt. She is such a girly girl, but she loves to play in the dirt. So silly! This was for the Saturday Special last week to remove something from the photo. I removed the leash. She looks so much cuter! :)

The Magic of Hollywood - For the Speed Scrap from Wednesday night. I wouldn't wait to use our Photopass photos, so I used one of Mom, Melinda, Aunt Joyce, and I at Hollywood Studios.

The Savior of Little Round Top - The mounument of General Gouverneur K. Warren atop Little Round Top at Gettysburg National Military Park. This I used for a Roadmap to scrap challenge and also altered one of Britt's "Hang Em High Vol. 2" templates for.

A Magical birthday - This was for a DISboards challenge to scrap a celebration at Disney. I used Melinda's birthday from 2007. I had done an overview type page for my birthday and wanted to a similar one for hers. It is also for a Tuesday Template challenge at SM.

That is all of the new layouts! Now I have to go get ready to go meet Melinda and then go to Dow Gardens to see the butterflies! I can't wait! And it looks like it is going to be a gorgeous day. Its already 70 and sunny! YAY! I love spring!
Later,
Melissa
