New Disney layouts

I have a couple new layouts to post. First is a layout I did for this week's challenge on the DISboards. The challenge is to use the colors from Aladdin and only those colors to create a layout. It took a bit to figure out which photos I wanted to use since I don't wear a lot of purple and wanted to use purple since I don't normally use it much. Plus I've used red quite a bit lately. I could have used some photos of us with Aladdin and Jasmine, but that seemed too predictable. I finally came across these photos from Cinderella's Golden Carrousel and the horses had red, white, purple, among other colors. On the title I used the gold action then the sparkle action, but it doesn't really come across in the small version as well. Also the swirl is sparkly but doesn't show up well.

The other layout I finished was for the Speed Scrap at Scrap Matters last night. A couple of the instructions had me a bit nervous because I normally don't use 4-5 pictures or 12-15 embellishments. That requirement had me stumped for a minute. It is definitely a bit funkier than others I've done. Today mine was picked as one of the winners and I got a $5 gift card to Scrap Matters. YAY!
