This month is going to be CRAZY! And it is going to be so much fun! :)
This Saturday Melinda, Mom, and I are going to see "The Nutcracker" at the Center for the Arts. So super excited about that! I haven't seen "The Nutcracker" in YEARS!
Then the next Saturday Melinda and I are going to Holiday Nights at Greenfield Village. We've never gone before, but it looks really fun. I'm hoping there will be a SMALL amount of snow to make it pretty. The event doesn't start until 6:30 pm so I think we might go to the Village during the day or maybe the Henry Ford Museum. We're going to stay down there and come back sometime on Sunday. Might go see Pat, not really sure.
The weekend after that is the Christmas candlelight walk at Dow Gardens. It was such a fun event last year. I'm looking forward to it again this year.
Then on Christmas Eve we're hoping to make it to the candlelight Christmas Eve service at our church, but it's at 11:00 PM, which is late and if the weather is yucky we might not go. Then its Christmas! Though this year is going to be sad. :( I already know what two of my presents are! LOL
Not sure what we're doing for New Year's yet. Probably just a quiet celebration of movies and board games at home.
For my birthday in April we had to change our plans a bit. We decided to just do a week at Disney instead of doing a Cruise and Disney. We already made are ADRs. Right now our plans are:
Day 1: Rainforest Cafe at Downtown Disney
Day 2: Lunch at Tony's Town Square. Since Melinda didn't get to eat there on our last trip.
Day 3: My Birthday! :) Breakfast at the Crystal Palace then dinner at Chef Mickey's. In the past we've done them the other way around, but I'm excited to try the breakfast at Crystal Palace.
Day 4: Breakfast at Akershus then dinner at Nine Dragons. These are two restaurants I'm really excited about going back to!
Day 5: Lunch at 50's Prime Time Cafe
Day 6: Lunch at Flame Tree BBQ
Day 7: Lunch at the Sci-Fi Dine-in Theater. I've never been there before, but Melinda ate there in 2005 when she went with Lib. I'm looking forward to trying it.
We're planning right now to stay at Pop Century again, though if a good deal comes out, that might change.
So that's all for right now! Like I said, it's going to be a busy month! :) I'm really looking forward to 2010!
Later!
Melissa

I thought I saw a Disney trip counter in your sig at mousescrappers, I kept meaning to ask if you had made the arrangements yet. ;) Sounds fun! We will be at Pop Century in 6 days. :D The way things are going, I wouldn't be surprised if another deal comes out before your trip.
I loved breakfast at CP! We're doing dinner this time, though.
