New Products at ScrapMatters

Britt released a really cute, sassy kit this week called "Miss Kitty."

Here is what I scrapped with it:

Britt also released a really cute alpha, Cheetalpha. She also has a really cute, Mickey inspired freebie, "The Big Cheese" on her blog. So be sure to go over and download it!

The Love and Cats layout also uses one of Denise Beatty's awesome new templates:

All Squared Away

Photobucket

Chelle of Chelle's Creations released this really cute fall kit, Midnight Crow:

Photobucket

When I saw the tree in it, I thought of this iconic photo by Alexander Garnder of a soldier's grave at Antietam.

A Soldier's Grave

I will be back to post the other layouts I have created recently. So be sure to check out these fabulous products and all the other awesome products that were released this week.

Exciting news!

I've been so bad at blogging lately!

Back in August ScrapMatters had a CT call. I applied not thinking I would get it. When the response email came back I almost didn't open it. When I did I thought for sure it was a rejection letter since I was only skimming it, so sure that it was a rejection letter. But it wasn't!!! I couldn't believe! My mouth dropped! I freaked out! So now I'm on the Creative Team for ScrapMatters! It still doesn't feel real! WOW!

Photobucket

I am so looking forward to hosting my first challenge! I can't wait to post it! :) I hope everyone will have fun with it.

And the other exciting news is that Melinda and I leave for Gettysburg and Antietam in almost a week!!!! YAY! So excited! I really need to get away. I can't wait! Melinda and I haven't gone on a roadtrip in a while, so this will be fun! They are always super crazy and so much fun! We will be at Antietam for the 147th Anniversary of the battle! This is something I've always wanted to do. One of the things I'm looking forward to the most is seeing The Cornfield as it would have been that September day in 1862. And Melinda and I are going to try to do at least two ghost tours in Gettysburg. YAY! We had so much fun the last time we want to do more. I have to do my laundry and pack this weekend. I love packing! LOL I already have my list of stuff to pack. We're going to try not to forget nearly everything like our last trip to Gettysburg.

I will be back to post some scrapbook layouts. I have a *TON* to post from the end of May until now.

Later!
